Google Mail(Gmail)을 PC로 백업하여 사용하는 팁 : Google Takeout, Mozilla Thunderbird 활용
백업용 계정으로 mail을 분산보관하지만, PC로 백업해 둘 필요가 있기도 하다.
PC백업은 Google Takeout 서비스, 백업된 메일 열람은 Mozilla Thunderbird 활용.

- Google Takeout
- https://www.google.com/settings/takeout

- Select labels

- Gmail labels

- Label selected -> Next

- Customize download format
Delivery method- Send download link via email : After we finish creating your archive, we'll email a link so you can download it to your personal device. You will have one week to retrieve your archive.
- Add to Drive : After we finish creating your archive, we will add your archive to Drive and email you a link to its location. These archives will count against your storage quota.

- Create archive
An archive of your Mail data is currently being prepared Please note that mail archives may take a long time (hours or possibly days) to create.

- Receive email message -> Download archive

- https://www.google.com/settings/takeout
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- Download & Install
- Import Settings and Mail Folders

- I think I'll configure my account later

- Launching

- Tools - Import...

- Mail -> Next

- Eudora -> Next

- Finish

- Local Folders -> Settings

- Local Folders -> Browse...

- Check Path (Local Folders)

- Close Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Copy *.mbox files to Local Folders (ex: Sent.mbox, Fax.mbox, Inbox.mbox)

- Start Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Skip Integration

- Local Folders - Fax.mbox

- Local Folders - Inbox.mbox

- Local Folders - Sent.mbox
